The perfect suite enjoy sunrise
Tucked in a small alleyway branching off Villabate road, which is the main road connecting the village of Zabbar and the picturesque Marsascala Bay, the Mulberries is ideally located for those who would like to stay in a quiet setting but at the same time reach most of the cultural and historic attractions. It is also ideal for those who love to adventure themselves and uncover the best hidden gems and explore lesser-known places of the Southern part of Malta.
Getting here from the airport takes around twenty minutes by car or Taxi, using public transport would take slightly longer but the bus stop is just a few meters away. Once at the Mulberries one may explore the area in many ways: walking, riding a bike, taking a bus, own car or organised guided tour.
Hugging the borders of Zabbar are Marascala famed for its postcard-perfect, Zeitun characterised by narrow streets and standout architecture and the once medieval capital city of Malta Birgu (Citta Victoriosa) each within easy reach with a thirty minute stroll or a short bus ride from the Mulberries.
Birgu together with Bormla and Senglea collectively known as The Three Cities are build to two peninsulas jutting in the Grand Harbour flanking Valletta. The Three Cities and the nearby Kalkara and Rinella are a cradle of historic attractions worth visiting. Fort St’ Angelo, The Inquisitors Palace, Fort Rinella, Malta at War underground complex and Villa Bighi are just of the few places you can experience. Most of the historical attractions are part of the historical fabric of the cities, not to mention the cities themselves with the unique waterfront setting and places where one can relax and enjoy culinary delights.
Once you are at the Three Cities you may opt to catch a ferry which takes you in no time to the 450 year Capital City of Valletta, a UNESCO heritage city built by the Knights of the Order of St’ John. Valletta has a treasure trove of things to do from exploring the rollercoaster streets to admiring baroque architecture. Valletta was 2018’s capital of culture and is a hub for discovering more about Malta’s history. Off the ferry on the Valletta side you may opt also to take a second ferry which in less than an hour drops you at Imgarr harbour in Gozo.
Other places of historical interest such as the Tarxien Neolithic Temples and the Hal-Saflieni Hypogeum a unique underground complex, both UNESCO world heritage sites which date back more than five millennia are just a few kilometers away and can be reached by a fifteen minute bus ride.
If you like to immerse yourself in nature and get lost hiking across St Thomas Bay up to Delimara’s Southern edge, you may do so following the footpath along the Southeastern coast of the Island. This area of the country is an area of high landscape value, with secret paths and hidden gems there to be discovered as you’re awed by picturesque peninsulas, rugged cliff faces and marbled sea waters.

自我介绍
I love meeting new people and I have been in the renting of property industry for the last ten years. Every new guest at their own descretion is treated with care and helped out through their stay in Malta. It is very satisfying when a guest goes back home cherishing nice memories of the house and Malta.
