Port-o-call was a charming place for our eclipse getaway. The deck in particular was a lovely place to relax with the stream in view with a good book and a snack. lots of nature! Everything was clean, linens smelled nice! Kitchen was perfect for our needs and we cooked all our meals in!

Stayed for a weekend wedding at the Iroquois Club on Conneaut Lake. Picked this spot because it's walking distance from the bride's parent's house on the Lake. Dave (and Joe) were responsive, helpful and more than accommodating when I asked about cutting my trip short from 3 nights to 2 due to business travel. At the time, I was unaware this is a 'busier' than normal fall weekend. The house is nothing exceptional; it's certainly a good spot for crashing for the night. The bathroom is tiny but serviceable; bring your own supplies. The kitchen is equally tiny (but other than coffee and bagels, we didn't use it). The one drawback I had was that the ceiling fans in the two bedrooms couldn't be adjusted. As the high was 50 degrees during our visit, I'd have liked to turn them off while keeping the light on. I couldn't. The hosts offered to come in to resolve but I declined; I wasn't going to be there that long so it wasn't a major problem. Communications was exceptional.

Great location close to the lake within walking distance, - lovely quaint cottage community.

I was looking for a sweet cottage to get away for a few days from my busy at home office. The cottage was in a sweet neighborhood of other cottages. Small deck in back and 2 nice rocking chairs at the front of the home for relaxing with a glass of wine or morning coffee. Just what I was looking for to "chill out" for a few days. I'll certainly consider it again as a get-a-way in the future.

Dave was a very responsive host took great care of our needs, and true to his word. Loved the back deck and fromt porch very relaxing and having a fire every night was great!
