We had a nice stay for one night. The route according to google maps included a road that was not very good, so Clarice called ahead and informed us of a different route. The house and garden were lovely. It was very hot inside the house and the fan in the bedroom was not working, but having the windows opened in advance can probably help that. The garden was really beautiful and the area was pretty quiet. We travelled with a dog and he was able to be in the fenced-in garden without any issues.

Clarice’s place is a quiet, peaceful retreat from the Kisumu bustle. The grounds are beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked with the standard items and the linens felt like hotel quality. I enjoyed morning yoga sessions in the back patio and watching the evening come to a close on the front veranda. Clarice is a welcoming, professional host who’s years of experience in hospitality is evident in her home. We had a beautiful time in her home. Sam, the caretaker, was wonderful. Clarice proved to be an extremely hospitable host during our stay at her Airbnb. She was attentive to our travel plans and responded promptly to any queries or messages we had. Her house matched the description provided on the platform and was located in a tranquil and hygienic environment. The caretaker, Sam, was also very helpful and provided us with assistance whenever required. On the day of our departure, Clarice arranged taxis for us. I would highly recommend staying at Clarice's place and would definitely choose to do so again in the future.
