Happy Camper Chalet is nestled in the forested mountains of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and offers a secluded terrain conveniently located in close proximity to the town, beaches & outdoor activities. While maintaining it’s vintage charm, the Chalet also offers many modern amenities, including a hot tub & sauna. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly vacation or a relaxing nature getaway, Happy Camper Chalet is where family & friends reconnect to simpler pleasures and the great outdoors. BEDROOMS: As a Happy Camper, you will have access to the entire chalet and outdoor spaces. The Chalet has three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a vintage cabin feel to it and is suitable for a cuddling couple with it’s queen sized bed and access to the balcony, where coffee and breakfast for two can be enjoyed on a sunny morning. The main bedroom also has drawers and a closet for guests to unpack their luggage. The second bedroom is also suitable for a couple, with it’s queen size bed and vintage mountain ranger decor. It also includes a closet where guests can unpack their luggage. The third room is suitable for, but not limited to, the little ones. This is the ultimate sleepover space for a group of children, as there are two wood bunkbeds that comfortably sleep four, as well as closet space. KITCHEN: The kitchen is quaint and comfy with it's open-space concept and a dining table that can fit up to 8 guests. The kitchen is fully functional and includes all appliances such as a fridge, oven/stove and microwave. We also offer a coffee station that includes a drip coffee machine, an electric tea kettle and a french press coffee maker. Our coffee station is also stocked with ground coffee, tea bags and sugar so that you can enjoy your preferred morning beverage while taking in the fresh mountain air. We also offer basic kitchen amenities such as olive oil, salt, pepper, aluminum foil and plastic wrap. LIVING ROOM: The living room has a fireplace, a sectional couch, two accent chairs, a television, and a coffee table. The Smart T.V. has a Roku streaming device, which allows guests to use their personal logins to their favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Crave & more. Roku has a feature that automatically logs guests off their personal logins and erases guests' information after departure. The coffee table is a chest that has a couple of family-friendly board games inside of it. We also provide a standard amount of fire logs so that you can enjoy the fireplace during cooler months. BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY: The Happy Camper Chalet has a total of 1.5 bathrooms. The main washroom includes a toilet, bath/shower and sink. The secondary bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and a laundry section with a washing and drying machine. We also provide laundry amenities such as detergent and softener as well as an iron & ironing board and a clothes drying rack. Each guest is also provided with their own towels and extra towels are stored in the laundry section should guests need more. WORK SPACE & WIFI: While our chalet allows guests to getaway and unwind, we understand that a guest may want to work from the chalet from time to time. We provide a small writing desk and chair in the hallway, should guests need to get some work done. Please keep in mind that the desk is located in an open space, so if silence is required, we recommend bringing noise cancelling headphones. We also provide Hi Speed internet which can be used anywhere throughout the Chalet. OUTDOOR SPACE & PARKING: Guests have access to all outdoor amenities such as the hot tub, sauna, campfire circle, picnic table and BBQ. Our Hot tub is inspected by a spa professional on a weekly basis to maintain optimal water quality. We also provide all happy campers with a generous amount of firewood and kindling for the fireplace. Please note, the picnic table and chairs are placed in storage throughout the winter season. Every couple of weeks we also have basic outdoor maintenance such as grass cutting, snow-removal and garbage, recycling & compost removal. If you do stay with us on a weekday or a particularly snow day, you may find one of the maintenance crew members caring for our property. Please don't mind them, they help care for our space to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. In terms of parking, the driveway can comfortably accommodate up to 6 vehicles. Please note that our chalet is located at the top of a mountain, so please ensure your vehicle is sufficiently equipped for winter drives.
