Peaceful area, clean apartment and a helpful host.

Must stay in Luzern. This was our first time traveling to Europe and decided Luzern was where to make our home base. Absolutely lovely, quiet city. Fati’s apartment is about a 12 minute Uber to the downtown train station. Multiple grocery stores and restaurants are within a 10 minutes walk as well. The view from the 3rd floor balcony needs to be talked about. Absolutely gorgeous views. The apartment itself was extremely clean and felt like home.

It was unfortunate that our experience was not a good one and to the point that we only stayed 1 night out of 3 nights booked. We ended up checking out of the apartment after the first night due to the extreme heat. Our stay was during a heatwave (yes, not the fault of the host) but the apartment does not have AC and is located on the top floor which retained heat like an attic. The night was unbearable. Our family did not sleep at all and we could not do it for the next 2 night. We ended up booking a last minute hotel instead. The apartment itself is clean and as advertised. Can see how it can be a nice stay with mild and cool temperature. Just be careful with the summer heat. That was our luck. The location is quiet and peaceful.

We loved staying at Fati’s apartment in Emmen. It was spacious and clean and had a balcony with beautiful views of the mountains. It’s only a 10- minute car ride to Lucerne, and it was nice to stay away from the noise of the city. It’s also a short car ride to catch the cog railway to Mt Pilatus. There are some good restaurants in the area and a local Coop store within walking distance. The only thing to be aware of is that one of the bedrooms is separated by a curtain, which was not a problem for us.

Had a really great stay at Fati’s apartment. It was clean and well equipped with all amenities. Fati was very prompt in responding to any query.
