One of the best Airbnbs I've ever booked. The location and the views from the top floor are absolutely incredible. The master bedroom and bathroom made me feel like I was in a palace. The apartment overall was very spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub area is exactly like the pictures, with breathtaking views. Next time I'm in San Jose I'm 100% booking the same location!

Firstly, the view from the apartment is very nice and the apartment is big. Pool area is nice too. Unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about it. The apartment needs repairs. Broken master bedroom door means you can’t close the door at all or you get locked in the room. Paint peeling off walls in some rooms. The master bathroom was disgusting. Stinks of sewage from the bath drain and was not cleaned properly. Water stains on the glass etc. the tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery and it is very dangerous to use the shower. The beds were not good with worn out mattresses that sag in the middle. One of the things that upset us was that the listing shows a balcony in the pictures but there was no balcony in the unit. When we asked the host about this she said she must have accidentally mixed the photo in from another apartment (she own a few if not all of them and other apartments there do have a balcony). but her response was that it was fine because there is a terrace with a view. While there is a terrace and it does have a view you have to go down a tiny spiral staircase to get there and when I got there it was over grown and filthy. You cannot sit out there. We could not help feel a bit bait and switched. The guest parking is down the hill even though there is plenty of parking in the building and not one car in site. It is a bit of a hike up the hill and then 3 flights of stairs so if you have limited mobility, this is not the place for you. The only way to get in and out of the complex is for the security guard to let you in and out. We were there for 1 night so this was not a problem for us but I could see it being a problem if we stayed longer. Another major issue we had is that in the apartment next to us, 2 local couples in there 30’s rented it and were in the hot tub naked, drunk and screaming at 4 in the morning which kept us awake. While this isn’t the host fault directly, the security guard mentioned earlier did nothing about it and the feeling we got is that these apartments are often used for this purpose with the locals. A very difficult stay and would not recommend it to anyone especially families. There are better options out there.
