Truly a unique and wonderful experience. The room was wonderful but the grounds were unique. All the extra touches and treats were a welcome addition to a perfect stay. Central to reach all the attractions on the island and a peaceful place to return to each day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Peter and Betty's place, Wedgetaildiwn. It was a beautiful property that was aesthetically pleasing, well-decorated, and comfortable. Betty made us fresh bread, and the fridge was stocked with fruit, delicious apricot jam, and items for breakfast. We loved seeing all the wildlife, from kangaroos and their joeys, to echidnas, to the superb fairy wren (who we hadn't yet managed to see before our visit). Thank you for a wonderful stay, Betty and Peter!

What a wonderful place! Wedgetaildown is a beautiful hidden hideaway in l stunning bushland, surrounded by peacefully grazing kangaroos and foraging echidnas. You can't really beat watching the wildlife go by with a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine by the fire in the evening. Peter and Betty's place is beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated but cosy and comforting at the same time. The hosts themselves are really lovely and the breakfast goods were much appreciated! Would recommend Wedgetaildown without reserve and hopefully I'll be able to stay again in the future.

You won’t regret staying at Peter and Betty’s apartment. It’s absolutely perfect and stunning in every aspect. The apartment is situated in the heart of the KI countryside with wildlife literally outside your window at all hours. We enjoyed walking the property around the apartment and seeing even more of the beautiful surrounds and wildlife. Best of all are Peter and Betty who are the most kind, friendly and thoughtful hosts. We enjoyed our conversations with them, and they are more than eager to make your stay one you won’t forget.

Trying to keep the hyperbole out of this review will be difficult but I'll try. Wedgetaildown was as close to my perfect idea of an air bnb as I've ever found. The beauty and isolation of the property, the proximity to wildlife and nature, the incredible hosts and the beautiful unit worked in tandem to achieve something very close to perfect. The photos don't do true justice to how nice the unit is and how well it sits within the land around it. The provided breakfast, the great recommendations from the hosts and the bevvy of little touches within the unit were all cherries on top of an already incredible cake. My partner and I will definitely be back on our next visit to KI.
