We loved our winter getaway at this cabin! As a large family, the space was accommodating to our group size while also giving people different areas to hang out. The lake views are stunning!

Space was wonderful. A couple bedrooms tucked away then a big open living/dining room and the kitchen right there. Massive ceilings and a big wall of windows made the space feel big and open and bright. Right on the lake makes for a great weekend getaway no matter the season. Most importantly, this is clearly a vacation home for Ashleigh and her family that they sometimes rent out as opposed to an investment property used for rentals. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates and cups and silverware and other utensils that you don't normally find. Some other pantry staples available as well. Garage game room made for a fun extra space in the winter with ping pong, buck hunter, and shuffleboard. There's a heater out there as well to help the chill. Plus the extra fridge/freezer was a huge help. Perfect place for a family/friends getaway on the lake!

1000% worth the stay! It was so relaxing and clean and made us feel right at home 🏡 even the pup 🐶 was completely comfortable. To be honest we didn’t even want to leave to go back home! Ashleigh made everything so easy and was very responsive. Seeing the sunrise and sunset made the stay even better along with the lake wave sounds, it was just completely peaceful ☺️ would definitely recommend people to stay here and we definitely will be back next year ❤️ if you are thinking about getting away to relax peacefully take that vacation to relax here!

Bear Cub Lodge was absolutely beautiful. The view alone is reason to vacation here. House was cleanly and neat. Also use of the garage and garage fridge was a big plus, we didn't really even know was an option so that was great. Beds were comfortable and plenty of parking. There was about a zillion lady bug beetles this time of year which made relaxing outside a bit of a challenge. But there is only so you can do about that. (Did not influence any of this review just a heads up if you travel in the fall). I wish i would have brought a leaf blower. Appliances were all nice and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thumbs up for this property and their owners :)
