This was a beautiful place to stay! Easy parking out the front and the key safe was easy to find and get into thanks to Claire & Lee’s message the morning of arrival. The property was beautiful. Homely and comfortable and the view is amazing! Kitchen and living room was well stocked with plenty of things to make the stay easier (soap, detergent, firewood, etc). There’s a folder in the living room with everything you need to know about the house and plenty of recommendations for eating out nearby. Bed was comfy and bathroom and shower were fab! There’s even little facial pamper packs (extra charge of £5) which I thought were a lovely touch! The town of Rhayader is within 2 mins walk with a Best One, Spar and Co-Op for essentials but also a butchers, grocer, deli and plenty of cafes, pubs and bars. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Claire and Lee responded to messages promptly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good throughout the trip. Absolutely wonderful!

Had a perfect stay at Rock Cottage and didn’t want to leave! The cottage was exactly as described and even though we knew the cottage came with amazing views, we were still taken back at how stunning they were!!! This is a perfect base for exploring the area as there is so much to see and do. Alternatively, it’s perfect for or doing absolutely nothing and just chilling on the balcony, listening to the river and taking in the scenery. Good communication from Clare and Lee. Loads of space for parking outside. Will I come back? 1000000%. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very nice accommodation. Comfortable bed, plenty of room and lovely views out the back. Great location for visiting Elan valley and the visitor centre.
