We really enjoyed our stay at The Commander! The best thing about this place is location- you have a beautiful view of the river and are a short walk from all of the good food, drinks, and shopping in the town. The trade-off is that it is going to be noisy with all of the bustle of delivery trucks, etc.! The hosts left ear plugs to help with this, which was really nice. Another thing to just be aware of is that there is only one parking space that will be reserved for this Bin location. I would recommend looking up free overnight parking in Stillwater before you arrive. Otherwise, a lovely, well-decorated spot and a very communicative host. Seems like a popular bachelorette party location for good reason :)

No better place to enjoy a freezing weekend in Minnesota - what an amazing place! These people have style. Totally comfortable for our family of four to enjoy the beautiful Stillwater lights, grab some great takeout and watch football. Kitchen is fully outfitted - best I’ve seen in an airbnb. Super comfy beds. Matt’s has delicious boba and waffles just downstairs.
