The property is beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the areas we were permitted to walk. The cottage is a beautiful inside and at first we felt like we could totally see ourselves returning. The description says wifi is an amenity but it basically never worked. We tried resetting it multiple times but is always tested at a 4 or 5 mps. Our wifi at home averages 255 mps. We couldn’t access email, social media or even the airbnb app to reach out regarding the wifi issue. On day one there were A TON of dead bugs on the living room carpet. My kids were with me for this stay, so it was a problem. I personally like cleaning my sheets every 4-5 days. I washed my bed sheet toward the end of our stay with some of my other whites and everything came out with rust stains from the washer. I couldn't notify the host because wifi didn't work. We had a list of check out instructions (couldn't see when booking) that slowed us down and we were 20 mins late at check out. Frustrating!

Lovely location tucked away at the end of a lane behind private gates. Very nice cottage that was as described. Unfortunately had issues with a wasps nest and bad internet service. First was resolved fairly quickly but the second was not. Overall had a good time and would recommend.

The place itself it’s absolutely stunning. It’s incredibly charming and set amongst fields so it feels like you have total privacy. Hosts very responsive and left us a lovely welcome gift! Thank you.

We had a truly enjoyable week at Sandhill Cottage, which offered a distinctive and memorable experience. The house itself was great, reminiscent of a museum, yet fully equipped with modern amenities. The kitchen, in particular, was exceptionally functional and well-designed. The well-maintained garden added to the charm of the property, occasionally attracting deer visitors. We appreciated the presence of a swing. The pool was clean and deep and was a refreshing treat on warm days, we took pleasure in swimming there. The cottage's location was also a highlight, surrounded by beautiful forests and inviting paths for leisurely walks. Additionally, having a nearby coop just a 10-minute walk away made grocery shopping convenient. Another big plus was the option to get to the place without a car, with a railway station in relatively close proximity. Thank you to the hosts for leaving us a little welcome treat, it was delicious! Overall, our experience was delightful!
