Kimberly’s place was fantastic, peaceful and quiet yet close to great restaurants and the beach. The water access was easy to get our kayak in and enjoy time on the water. The cottage was neat and clean with everything needed for a great stay….definitely hope to be back! JL

I'll just go ahead and say it: After years on AirBNB, this may be my FAVORITE rental ever! The house is adorable. Just as pictured. Clean as a whistle. And in the most idyllic spot you can imagine. 15 mins from the Topsail Beach Pier, but a world away from everything. I wish Kimberly would just post regular shots of her canal/wetland/Intracoastal view—and the birds that go along with it. I'd make it my screensaver. Host was very accommodating and proactive. Sent specialized directions b/c googlemaps is a little off. She even let us know the house was ready a day early if we wanted to go ahead and move in. We felt very welcome in Kimberly's waterside retreat. So did all the family we'd come to visit. Five BIG stars!

Rustic and beach vibe, Beautiful views of the Intercoastal waterway from the deck. Love to watch the boats go by. Quiet neighborhood on a dead end road, but there is a lovely park down the road if you want to go for a walk. Very responsive, friendly, and flexible host!

If you're looking for a perfect blend of country home and beachside nostalgia, this is it!Kimberly was an excellent host. She proactively reminded us about places to find things in the home and what to expect during our stay. She left a helpful book of instructions that also shared local restaurants that were fantastic. Topsail beach is a short 15 minute drive and there was so much to do in the area. The location was absolutely beautiful, nestled in a corner plot on the canal. We had dreamy picnics in the sunshine looking out at the water. Couldn't ask for more! The house feels a bit older, but has been very well maintained. My 3 and 6 year old boys loved the tree swing and got to play while we set up our fishing rods to take out the boat. And while Kim warned us about low tide, we had zero problems working around it. Such a great trip! We'll be back for spring break! Also, Kim has such a nice neighbor to the left of the property and super sweet doggie neighbors on the right.
