Sandrine met us personally upon arrival. All correspondence prior to checkin was very responsive. The house is far up on a hill which made for tranquility and view down the valley over the lake to majestic mountains surrounding. There are some steps, but we had no problem with a set of 8, 3, and 2. The kitchen was well equipped such that we cooked full meals there. We enjoyed time in the dry sauna. Remote controlled fully external blinds made for dark rooms and good sleeping. For the five of us, it was an outstanding stay! Highlights were personal attention from host as well as excellent communication, and a very clean place to stay with beautiful view. Thank you Bertrand and Sandrine!

We had a wonderful time in Chardonne. The apartment is quite cozy and has nice touches, and the hosts welcomed us with juice and croissants. There was a coffee and tea selection for morning so we didn’t have to go out. They also provided coupons for free public transit. The first day was tricky to figure out the funicular, (it wasn’t until the next day we figured out to go down instead of uphill!) but now that we know, our next trip will be even easier. The trick is to use the La Baume stop when you go down the hill and the Mont Pelerin stop when returning home. We did it wrong and our legs were paying for it LOL Public transport is VERY easy and punctual, so don’t even bother with the taxis as they are expensive and Uber is very unreliable. Bertrand and Sandrine were wonderful hosts, the house was very clean, and had lots of great features. We are already planning a trip back!

Un très bel appartement avec une vue magnifique plongeante sur le Lavaux et le lac Léman. L’appartement est très bien équipé et très propre. Place de parking gratuité disponible devant le logement fortement appréciable. Sandrine et Bertrand sont accueillants. Nous sommes arrivés tard et ce fut une belle surprise d’avoir des croissants / jus de fruits pour démarrer le lendemain matin sans avoir à commencer par les courses :-) Nous serons ravis de revenir.
