We had the best time in The Bothy. Tim and Judy couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful! They were the most lovely hosts who gifted us with fresh laid eggs and delicious homemade bread to make our stay even better. The Bothy was lovely and cosy and set in the most beautiful surroundings we could have imagined! The additional treat of two gorgeous, friendly Bearded Collies also made our visit stand out. An incredible trip away and we very much hope we’d be welcome back! Couldn’t recommend enough!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Bothy. It’s in a magical location in a beautiful corner of the Glen. Judy and Tim have made their grounds all the more welcoming with beautiful grounds, friendly animals, a sauna, lovely accommodation and easy access to mountains, rivers and streams. We recommend bringing all your food but Judy was quick to help with the essentials we forgot. Judy generously provided all the wood we needed and the bothy had lots of tea lights and fairy lights making it feel very snug. The bothy was extremely cosy with the log fired stove and was equipped exactly as we expected - basic kitchen and no WiFi or signal. Perfect for what we wanted. We recommend going for a cold dip in the stream, the tea room further west in the Glen (also WiFi if you need it!) and Aberfeldy for nice shops and more coffees/cakes. A stroll down by the river is also stunning. Don’t forget your wellies and hiking boots - it’s muddy! Enjoy!

The location was stunning, the bothy cosy and full of character. Judy could not do enough for us and is great woman. We enjoyed the trip so much.

Tim and Judy made us very welcome and were easy to chat with and were always available. The bothy is in a lovely location and with no phone or internet is perfect to enjoy the surroundings, and domestic poultry! Red squirrels and birds but the pine marten didn't show up for us! Remote but easy to get out and about and into to Aberfeldy.
