The building is super charming and I loved how the doors reflected the old businesses housed there. The hosts were very responsive and communicated well. The location is great and very accessible to public transit. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We were aware of the noise from being in such a central location and appreciated the ear plugs. What we didn’t expect was how bright it was throughout the evening. I woke up at midnight and thought it was 6 am as the blinds didn’t block out much light. I was also disappointed there were no dressers to put clothes away in and we had to use our suitcases. The living area is very cramped as well. It suited our needs as we mostly explored the city, but I didn’t really feel that the unit was comfortable enough to hang out in during the day.

Consistent with recent reviews: the unit is clean, neat and as described; guests have easy access to public transportation and interesting activities; and the building management staff is very gracious and helpful. To be honest, the extent of the loitering is problematic. We dealt with this situation by always using Uber, after dark. Otherwise, the surrounding area of Chicago is a gem!

Close to mass transit. We came in from Midway and our stop in the Loop was literally right next door. Easy in and out - cool building with friendly staff. The only negative is too many people who look like they are just loitering standing around the building.

Great location for us, right near my son's apartment & the Art Institute. Super comfortable and bright.
