Around here it's all about chilling in the turchese water sea, at the white beaches, the beautiful dunes and the natural reserve of Chidro river.
Discover the different beaches as much as you can by day and go for dinner and visit beautiful Oria, picturesque Locorotondo or Martina Franca etc by night. Manduria has a few great restaurants as well, and if you are into wine don´t miss on the chance to get a wine tour and tasting and discover the secrets behind the world famous Primitivo di Manduria red wine.

The best way to move around Puglia stays unfortunately a car. I wouldn’t recommend you to come without a car unless you want to have a staycation at the Villa and only go out rarely.
However a bike is a great way to go to the beach, reach different shops and mini markets in San Pietro village and if you would like I can help you rent one for little money.
Parking at the beach is a bit of work in July and most of all august. All the other months are basically low season here so you should be ok. If you are traveling during high season and you are not into park hunting, you will find many parking opportunities for 4-5 euros a day.
Parking in Manduria can also be tricky, please beware of ZTL - traffic limited areas where you are not allowed to drive in as a non resident. If you do, you might get a
hefty fine so always look at signs and do write me if you need some tips about it. ZTL are in almost every italian city center, but as a general rule if the ZTL sign is green you can go.
However parking outside Villa Patrizia is never an issue :)
