10 out of 10. I needed a spot to escape for a few days. Something private but close to nature. Susan’s cabin was PERFECT. It feels like you’re stepping into a novel. She even includes a picture book that explains the history of the cabin and the changes that took place since 1937. I was able to walk out the door and find my way to a series of stunning waterfalls within minutes of hiking. If you need a few days away from the craziness of life, this is your spot. Got it as a getaway trip for me & my girlfriend. Everything was just like the pictures. A cute, cozy cabin. It is the perfect place to escape from the busy city! Its also not too far of a drive to a lot of the waterfalls & the supermarket. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful place to visit! The house was lovely, clean, and fully equipped for renters. The path in the back led to beautiful waterfalls and trails. Check-in and communication with owner was easy and seamless. Will definitely plan to visit again!

The cabin is the perfect cozy weekend getaway. It has everything you may need. Fully stocked with rain gear, kitchen items, comfy couches and great smelling pine. coffee and creamer and a variety of teas. Very thoughtfully designed. Cute bathroom tile! Place was clean and quaint, yet spacious. Decks were a nice touch as well. Loved our time there. Sue was extremely hospitable and friendly as well and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this cabin in the woods!

Sue’s place is exactly what you’re looking for in a stay in the Poconos! Incredibly comfortable, peaceful, and with thoughtful touches throughout. A perfect weekend getaway and would 100% stay again!
