Great place to stay in Calibishie! Very charming place and Young has good recommendations of places to check out. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Young’s house. Too bad it was shortened by an airline snafu. The place was clean and immaculate. Great location in this small seaside town. There are a number of small mom and pop stores. Young really helped us because we arrive from an early flight and cab ride only to find the town mostly closed for Good Friday. He was tremendous in helping us find a meal until a market opened. A huge highlight was his tour of his farm in the mid mountain area. I’ve never seen so many fruit bearing plants and trees. He shared many fruits with us, including a “jelly coconut”. The views from his ranch farm of the Atlantic are gorgeous. We highly recommend his tour. The restaurants in town we tried had good food. The biggest market seemed to have many things, including alcohol if you like that. The prices were not so high I would carry it in on a plane, for instance toothpaste. We walked to the Red Rocks (follow the signs for the Red Rocks restaurant) which was cool

We had the most wonderful stay at Young’s in Calibishie. The cabin was exactly as described- clean and comfortable, with a good shower, mosquito nets, cooking materials etc. Young was a brilliant host. Super helpful with everything, and he even brought us fresh bananas and pineapples! 🍍 His mum was lovely too! 100% recommend. Thank you Young!

Youngs tiny house by the sea was a perfect retreat to come home to after a day of adventuring. The space was clean and organized and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and a small market and an atm. I didnt have a car but i was able to walk to many stunning beaches. Young was a splendid host and made sure i really enjoyed my time in Calibishie. I highly recommend him and this adorable home by the sea!

Perfect place to explore Calibishe, a very cozy community. Nixon was the perfect host, and very reflected about the area, we really enjoyed our chats with him :)
