This is the second time I’ve stayed at Karyn’s Lakeland home. It’s situated in quiet street only a minutes walk from beautiful Lake Hollingsworth. It’s perfect for anyone visiting Florida Southern College as it’s within walking distance. You can also walk to the shopping centre from here. Karyn on both occasions has been so warm and friendly and accommodating to my family and I. Great place!

Mostly my fault for staying in a "shared" place for the first time. Last minute had a guest stay overnight with me. Knowing it was a shared place we used the shared spaces very little, maybe a couple minutes each. There is a guest who seems to stay there indefinity and so he seems to be used as their spy to make sure you as the extra guest are in accordance with everything, which is a little uncomfortable. Despite their $39 cleaning fee, you are required to clean up the dishes after yourself, I had left a couple items in the sink. Karen and another person showed up inside the house at 9:55 am. Checkout is at 10:00 am. So that was a little odd and uncomfortable as well. Had never had that happen before. Felt like I got scolded by my mom (and I'm near 50). Was told that I would see another charge. I obliged. Ended up paying $60 more. This place was def. not worth what I was charged even w/o the extra cost. Loud snores from two adjacent bedrooms. Bring earplugs!
