The host Sylvie was very responsive and friendly with helping me with my booking. I really appreciated the simplicity and flexibility of self-checkin and checkout. The freestanding holiday home provides good privacy and is located on a peaceful street. The walls and wooden floors transmit a lot of noise when walking, especially in the upstairs rooms. There were not many kitchen utensils or metal cutlery but that was fine for the short stay. The shower water was hot and had good pressure. I didn't use the small outside sitting/BBQ area as the weather was cold. There were no issues during the stay for which I had to be in touch with the host. The house is conveniently located close to the train station, and you can walk there in 10-15 min. I would recommend this place for a stay in Châteaubriant.
