From spring 2022: We renovated everything, and now you will enjoy a truly "deluxe" stay. 50 m² Loft with wooden cupula as a roof. Terrace with splendid views of mountain and sea. We want to make you feel like in a deluxe hotel, while enjoying the privacy of a private home. Approx. 100 steps to climb, but the views will reward you for this effort. Wellness terrace included for private use once a week (Jacuzzi, Sauna, sunbeds). Our three holiday flats of "La Gomera Deluxe" are located in the building "La Galeria" in the district "La Calera" in Valle Gran Rey. The building is located on the mountain, about 15 metres above the small street "Calle la Alameda", and can be reached via a staircase. There are a good 100 steps to the flats. From the top you enjoy one of the most beautiful locations in Valle Gran Rey, with a great panoramic view of the mountains opposite, the lower valley and the sea. On a clear day you can see the neighbouring island of El Hierro in the distance. The flat is built in "loft" style. This means that it consists of a very large room with open kitchen, dining area, bedroom with large double bed (1.80 m, 2 separate mattresses) and a large, sunny terrace. The kitchen is built of solid wood and equipped with all comforts (full size oven, microwave, coffee machine, mixer, blender, pots and pans, plates, glasses, cutlery etc.). To start, you will receive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper as well as coffee capsules (Dolce Gusto system) and tabs for the dishwasher and washing machine. We provide you with a regularly maintained water filter so that you do not need to carry drinking water upstairs. The bathroom is in its own room (lockable door, and a window to the outside), and has a shower with glass partition, toilet, bidet shower, and a washstand with storage for your bathroom items and a large, illuminated mirror. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, soap and detergent are provided). A somewhat separated dining area offers a table and three chairs made of solid wood and a lovely decoration. The sleeping area has a large bed (1.80 m) with new, super comfortable mattresses (2 separate mattresses) and separate duvets as well as 2 different pillows per person. A TV armchair and a large Smart TV are at your disposal. We change the bed linen and towels weekly for longer stays. We also leave 2 beach towels and a handy beach bag for your use during your stay. The terrace has an electric awning so you can choose between sun and shade. The orientation is south to south-east, the sun shines from the morning when it rises over the opposite mountain until the afternoon. Dining table with 4 comfortable chairs and two sun loungers with thick cushions (all wooden furniture). Possibility to dry laundry. We are happy to provide an iron on request. We have created a beautiful wellness terrace for our three flats. You can rent it privately (45 EUR for 2 persons, up to 3 hours). Here you will find a large Jacuzzi, a panoramic sauna with a view of the mountains (from July 2022) and comfortable sun loungers with thick cushions. For a stay of at least 5 nights, the use of the wellness terrace is included in the flat rental price once a week.
