Our stay at Joshua’s place was excellent. The place was quiet, clean and very peaceful. It also had all the amenities listed and he was very responsive if we had any questions during our stay.

Clean and cozy cabin. We stayed at Joshua's cabin for 3 nights. It was unusually cold, so we were grateful for the extra firewood and well as the ample supply of hot water. The place is very clean and beds comfortable. Be aware that the driveway is very steep, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but we had snow and rain. Fortunately, we brought our 4-wheel drive truck. Also, we were surprised at the lack of a microwave, but otherwise the kitchen was stocked to cook meals. Location is central to exploring hiking trails on the coast. We enjoyed our stay and will be back when it gets warmer.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin for three nights over Christmas. The wood burning fireplace was so cozy and provided a nice respite from the cold and rain! Lots of great walks and beaches nearby - we even did a Christmas Day cold plunge at a nearby beach. Madeira and the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. We love coming to the Sunshine Coast and appreciated the quiet escape from Seattle (and the Darth Vader pancake maker). The host was communicative and friendly! If coming from far away just make sure you note when the landfill opens and closes as there’s no trash service in this area. We had a great time!

A beautiful and well equipped cabin. Near lots of great walks, fabulous views, and any needed services. Joshua was very responsive and communicated very clearly. A really nice Thanksgiving weekend experience for all of us!
