James and Chen thought of everything when they designed this space, and if something was missing, they would find a way to provide it. There was a full fridge, microwave, toaster, tea kettle and a small oven provided in the room. There was a full dresser and armoire that fit all of my clothes. I had my own air-conditioning, ceiling fan and even a space heater. I had full access to the washer and dryer in the main house and plenty of cleaning supplies were available to help keep things tidy. There was a big rocky lot I was able to easily park my car. But my favorite thing about this space was the location. It was super easy to drive straight up into downtown Austin in less than ten minutes, or fifteen during rush hour.

James and Chen were great hosts! Gave me local recommendations while I visited Austin for the first time. They checked in on me on my last day to make sure I had everything I needed before leaving. Room was clean and private. Great that there was free parking. I would book again!

I only stayed one night and it was very clean and convenient. The private entrance and private full bathroom were great, so even with some renovation work happening in the house in August I was relatively undisturbed. Host kept me informed before/during stay, and room was well furnished.

A great place not far from the activities of Austin and around the corner from a busstop that takes you downtown in less than half an hour. By car even quicker. It’s also close to the airport and a great place to get rest during your stay. With additional shared spaces (on top of your own room with bathroom) very spacious & lovely and caring hosts
