Relax with the family and pets in peace and quiet @THE EL JOBEAN YACHT CLUB LAKE HOUSE. Enjoy fishing, boating, baseball and beaches. Fishing the lake, or the Boat from Sam Knight lake to Sam Knight creek that runs through the Tippecanoe preserve and connects to the Myakka River and the Gulf of Mexico including Charlotte Harbor. The El Jobean Public boat ramp is 2 miles away and the beaches only 15 minutes away there is also the Tampa Bay rays spring training field a mile away. At the El Jobean Yacht Club Lake House you will enjoy lots of wildlife (raccoons alligators Florida swamp rabbits Blue Jays Cardinals ducks and many other kinds of wildlife)peace and quiet great fishing fully equipped kitchen. NEW FLOATING DOCK (3/22/2022). New front double gate 5/04/22 for boat, camper, four wheeler storage etc. (We are constantly improving)

The place was wonderful… very homey and peaceful. Love the deck on the water. Everything we needed and more .. Great place to stay . Sheila you have a beautiful home , thanks for sharing it with others.
The lake house is a beautiful, secluded, restful property deceivingly close to so many things. We spent many hours in the screened in porch overlooking the lake where there always seemed to be a breeze. Thank you so much Sheila for always being available to answer any of our questions. Loved our stay!

El Jobean has a ton of history from the El Jobean train Depot (now the Bean Depot Cafe & Museum) that in the 1920s was the train depot, grocery store, post office and temporary jail also The El Jobean Grand Hotel where they filmed Tarzan movies and where The flying Wallendas and a lot of other famous circus acts used to go every year during the off-season to fish and rehearse. The Tampa Bay rays have their spring training every year 1 mile away and Charlotte County Fairgrounds across the street from the ballpark and twisted Fork along with 5 of the best beaches in Florida 15 minutes away the fishing pier is only 2 miles away as is the boat ramp (this is the Tarpon fishing capital of the world) and a bait store. There are excellent restaurants around like Farlows on the water, The Bean Depot Cafe, Big Bamboo Asian fusion and Twisted Fork are very popular along with the Shipwreck Saloon and many more. Driver wood golf course and country club just a few blocks away the best place to play golf in Southwest Florida
Very quiet neighborhood easy to get around walking bicycling or taking a golf cart ride
