Fabulous place to stay. Very much home from home in miniature, with lots of useful knick-knacks. Delightful view over the garden. Pleasant short walk to Lamlash shops. Diane and her husband were most welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Arran, which in itself is a lovely island, with more to do than we managed in three and a half days.
Diane and Glyn are wonderfully kind hosts and their studio is cosy and comfortable! We had everything we needed and spent a lovely 3 nights!
The studio was perfect, extremely well equiped, warm and cosy and the hosts go the extra mile to welcome you. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great for accessing the many wonderful experiences the Isle of Arran has to offer. Highly recommend Diane's studio and would most definitely stay again.
This was a great find. Dianne was very friendly and the little welcome gifts' in the room were lovely, unexpected and very much appreciated, including the 'happy anniversary' card! It's a 15 min walk into the centre of the village, which is fine on a nice day, but predictably we did get drenched on one occasion! Only downside was poor phone signal and very intermittent WiFi, but this is the case at a lot of places on the island. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend to others 👍
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the studio - definitely highly recommend & we’d return for another stay. A super welcome basket filled with lovely local goodies. Helpful and attentive hosts - absolute joy to deal with, exceptionally friendly, warm & welcoming. They went out of their way to make suggestions & give advice - made it so easy for to decide where to go & what to see. We weren’t disappointed & fell in love with Arran in general and Lamlash in particular. The spacious studio is well appointed with good amenities, books & games, spotlessly clean, well thought out - very homely & cosy. There’s a number of guide books if, like us, one’s not done much research. The studio is ideally located for exploring the island by any method of transport. The nearby bus stop is perfect for days visiting distilleries or the brewery, or simply doing a round trip to take in the stunning scenery without having to drive. Despite the weather, Arran didn’t disappoint & nor did the studio.
