Take a break and relax in this beautiful, super-comfortable new studio just upstream from Kelso. Fast EV charging available by the gate. You'll be surrounded by fine countryside for walking, cycling and exploring and your host has an array of tempting fermented foods, kombucha, honey and preserves to share with you. Oh, and you might wish to book a sound journey played with her fine collection of Himalayan singing bowls. The studio is large and airy with big windows overlooking the garden but utterly private. It has its own side entrance from the garden and is attractively furnished with old and new furniture, textiles, paintings. The kitchen area is newly equipped. Guests are invited to ask for any items they need in addition and Kate will do her best to provide them.

Beautiful accommodation and surrounding area. The furnishings were lovely and the little touches make it extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed the honey for breakfast and looked forward to using the beautiful natural products provided. Kate is a lovely host and wants you to enjoy your stay. The house is on a small quiet lane, off the village street and overlooking the Teviot valley to the south. The river is only some 200yds away with walks in both directions. The famous and magnificent Roxburgh viaduct is seen from the house. It used to carry trains from Edinburgh to Kelso but has been disused since the 1960s, contributing a fine walking embankment. The fields across the valley are also in view their colours and textures changing through the seasons.
