Cosy comfortable cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We enjoyed our walk into Dunkeld, a lovely little town, then on to the nature reserve at Loch of the Lowes, where we saw Osprey and red squirrels. The bread and wine in the cottage were very much appreciated and the Tefal Airfryer came in very handy. We didn’t see anybody during our stay, but we did communicate with Halli via text. A very pleasant 2 night stay, would recommend.

The cottage could be absolutely incredible. Cottage itself was amazing but the soft furnishings.... bedding, curtains, towels all could be updated. Bedding was well worn and bit washed out, bedroom curtains were very old, faded and definitely needed replaced or at least new heading tapes to hold them neatly in place. We had to wedge our stuff into the corners to ensure our privacy from the overlooking house due to the curtains not hanging properly. We also had a few spider visitors due to the adjacent log store. These were the few things that let this little quaint cottage down. The hosts were absolutely lovely people who were very friendly and extremely welcoming.

We really loved our four night stay in birnam. The villages of Birnam and Dunkeld were very walkable and there was a lot to do in the area. The accommodations were great and Halli went above and beyond to make our stay great.

This charming stone cottage is one of the best Airbnbs we have ever visited, and that’s saying a lot. Starting with the fresh bread and wine that was left for us, there are almost too many details to list here in a review. Location is amazing with a pathway down to the riverside just a few feet away from the driveway, and the cottage is beautiful inside and out. Check the pics to get a sense of the charm. Amenities work perfectly. The only thing is cottage lacks is a washing machine, but our host offered to wash some things for us. She did just that and returned everything dry and folded. She had her husband are maybe the nicest hosts we’ve encountered. And their recommendations for food and activities Were perfect.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, highly recommend this stay! Easily located, private, and peaceful cottage stay. Perfect for 2 people on a vacation in the area. Pictures of the cottage and amenities match and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay!
