We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Sawcliffe Manor. Emily was very responsive, informative and helpful via the guest app chat and we appreciated the clear instructions. The house and surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, we thought it was lovely with both sunny and rainy weather. We stayed in the Lord of the Manor room which had a large cosy, firm bed as well as a bath and beautiful double sinks. We loved the shutters and the surprisingly calming clay like red walls! There is a spa option but we didn’t have time to enjoy this. As pescatarians, we opted for the vegetarian mini breakfast option at £15 each. The substitute for sausage and bacon were two croissants which, along with the teacakes, were not at their best, the next day. We however really enjoyed the fresh eggs and soft sourdough rolls and the kitchen was beautiful and nice to cook in with lots of herbs and spices available.

Great area for painting artists. Really nice and quiet. Everything was great clean and well organised, I had a really pleasant stay. Thank You

Our 3rd stay this year we like it so much, and I will undoubtably return in the near future! Every aspect of our stay was impeccable - the manor is beautiful and the bed remarkably comfy. Friendly host and feel well looked after, every time! 10/10 from me!

We had the most gorgeous stay here, and being dog friendly is an added bonus! Our pooch was treated just as good as we were, and the spa was a great added experience. We all came away feeling super pampered and refreshed, would recommend to any friends or family looking for a quiet retreat🥰 thank you Elwes family! X
