We had an amazing stay here. From the moment we drove in the gate up the beautiful driveway, through to the amazing house, we were in bliss. Such a beautiful location. We had everything we needed here for a great 2 night break, we hope next time we come back it can be for longer! Thank you to Tanya for sharing this piece of paradise with us.

This property is stunning and well decorated. Everyone really enjoyed a relaxing stay plenty of space for the kids to move around. The views were fantastic and having such a large undercover balcony was great when it rained. The host Tanya was responsive to all our messages. We had a great stay.

Beautiful home, very luxurious. Amazing views. Hosts have provided lots of things like condiments, tea, etc for guest use which was very appreciated. We had a great time hanging out with friends here, however one of them found the separate studio room to be a bit stuffy/warm and advised that the fan didn’t move too much air, even on high speed. We stayed in early March just as weather was starting to ease after a hot summer. Master room in the house was very comfortable though.

Our trip, intended from Friday - Sunday, was cut short due to rain early on the Saturday, resulting in a power outage. The property's entire water supply (including flushing toilets & drinking water) is directly tied to its power. There was no backup generator. If we'd known this risk, we probably would have brought bottled water/booked elsewhere. Tanya kindly agreed to a refund, but unfortunately refunded only 1/4 of our initial booking. Unfortunately, the host stopped replying when asked if we could discuss the refund amount further. Ended up needing to contact Airbnb, who organised a ~50% refund with thanks. STRENGTHS Excellent views. Private location. AREAS FOR GROWTH Needs a backup generator If no generator/water still relies on power, inform guests of this detail in the listing Ceiling fans in 2x of the rooms not functional Air-conditioning would ideally be available in all rooms, as they get uncomfortably warm in the QLD heat Advertise firepit unavailable in summer
