What a gem. Wonderful warm cosy, well equipped comfortable home in an absolutely stunning location. I booked to bring 2 87 yr olds one with mobility issues & 2 tiny dogs. Steep driveway & there are stairs from the parking space to the front door however there is also an entrance at street level for anyone with mobility issues.kitchen superbly equipped, including coffee machine,air fryer & slow cooker, I cannot think of anything we needed that wasn’t provided! The little village shop is slightly more expensive than you’d pay in larger places but an excellent selection of food,alcohol,papers ,Scottish gifts/souvenirs. There’s also a cash machine. The Arrochar petrol station was reasonable price wise, there is an excellent fish & chip shop a few doors from Herons View where lovely locally produced soaps can also be bought. Pizzas from the little restaurant next to the village hall - excellent! Would highly recommend Herons View ,fabulous home with excellent hosts, we loved our stay!

Wonderful location overlooking the loch. Very clean and tastefully decorated with all the modcons even in such rurality.
