Tjerk's house was very beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. The location was a 2-minute walk from a bus stop (bus times are infrequent), 15 15-minute walk from downtown, and 15 15-minute walk from the train station, which served us perfectly. We we able to spend a lot of time in downtown Gouda, but also hopped on the train for easy transport to and from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, and The Hague. Tjerk's house is also close to beautiful walking/biking trails along a nearby lake. We did have some issues with the neighbor's partying loudly 3 nights in a row, but we were there in the days preceding New Years, so it may have been unique circumstances.

The place was just really nice for a weekend getaway! :) the neighbourhood is lovely and walkable from the city centre in Gouda. Lots of space to use, and it felt really homey. Kitchen is top notch! Tjerk was available for questions and very responsive via chat. Good communication for sure! Being in the NL at this time, the place was a bit on the cool side for our comfort, but Tjerk helped us with options to improve this aspect as well! Would strongly recommend this place for a local experience :)

The accommodation was excellent for my colleagues. Very clean and tidy. Also, the communication with the host was excellent, fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
