We had to spend the first 2 hours after arriving cleaning all of the downstairs area where there was a lot of old cobwebs and new spider webs. The bedding and room configuration is very odd and lacks privacy. The house has obviously undergone budget renovations particularly downstairs. The communal area upstairs is good, and the kitchen was equipped well (however salt and pepper should be a staple). Unfortunately for $800+ a night and having to bring your own sheets and basically clean the house entirely on check in and check out, this property is far from worth it.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The house is amazingly located backing onto the grassy park area and straight down to the beach. The upstairs area has been very thoughtfully renovated and freshened and the large deck is really wonderful with trees all around. Downstairs is great if you are looking for lots of accommodation! We were a bit concerned that it would be a bit dingy and pokey, but the owners have opened up some of the walls with sliding doors which work very well. Note there is only one indoor bathroom for the whole house that has two doors that open onto it (although there is a second toilet in the laundry). However the outdoor shower is warm and effective. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Location is amazing Loved the outdoor shower Kitchen really nice and plenty of ustensils ( much better than the usual) Bedrooms a bit weird Garden and outdoor areas could have been cleaned We had trouble to get in but Sharon came and help in the end Overall a good week end for us - really good vive but would worth putting some effort on the garden / there is a feel of neglect which does not credit to the house that’s really nice in many aspects

Great location close to the beach and cafe, we walked and grabbed a coffee most mornings! Great facilities with everything you could need, fireplace was lovely with the cooler weather. Quirky layout that fitted our group size nicely. Unfortunately it had rained extensively and there is no driveway so we had to park in the public car park out the back so we didn’t get bogged. Unloading everything was quite difficult due to where we had to park and we could not access the property without walking through lots of mud. Overall though a lovely weekend away, an ideal property for a bigger group and warmer weather.
