This was my first Airbnb experience. Heidi was amazing! I wasn't planning on driving the sixteen hour drive to Grand Rapids straight through, but I was way too excited to see my daughter, so I did. I sent Heidi a message to see if I could pay her to go into the cabin a little early. She responded right away and said I could go in without paying extra. The neighborhood was so peaceful! It was everything I expected and more. I loved having the washer and dryer there to keep up with laundry. The cabin has so much room and things to do in it! I would definitely try to reserve it again. On the day that I left, I was running behind a bit. I sent Heidi a message and told her that I would at her extra for being 1/2 hour late. She wouldn't hear of it. I will now be living and working in the area, and will recommend this cabin to anyone that I hear needs a place to stay!

The Hale Lake Haven was as described, very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Heidi was an excellent host, very responsive. We hope to book a stay there in the summer!

Beautiful, restful place! Windows facing the lake, layout, just everything. We loved it!!! If you are looking for a place to stay in the Gr area Anytime of year, this is the place.
