Overall a good place to stay when visiting Lucca. Not in the center of the town but still good transportation methods such as the bus stop by the house and the bicycles were a big plus when you quickly want to shop for groceries for an example. We had some problems with the fridge and freezer which they kindly tried to help us with but since the parents didn’t speak any English we had a hard time communicating and fixing the freezer (which we didn’t end up using anyways. There also weren’t any warm water in the shower or in the tap but it wasn’t a problem since it was so hot outside. We also missed some items in the kitchen such as cooking knives and oil. But as I said, overall we really enjoyed our stay and the bikes, nearby bus station and garden was a big plus!

Das Casa Carlotta liegt wunderbar in der Nähe des Städtchens Lucca und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für allerhand Ausflüge (Pisa, Livorno, Meer). Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen dank Carlottas freundlicher und sehr zuvorkommender Art. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We stayed for two nights in Carlotta's house during our trip to south Italy. The location is perfect for visiting Lucca, Pisa (within 15 mins by car) and even Florence. We liked especially Lucca and wished we could stay longer. The house was clean and spacious enough for a family with three big kids. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and Carlotta was so nice to provide a small breakfast and a bottle of great wine. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Very nice home with a beautiful yard. Close to the city center but outside the busy part of the city. Really enjoyed riding bikes to and from the city center. Very comfortable living space and full kitchen. Nice and clean bathroom. Well worth a stay if your in Lucca!
