Cannot say enough great things about this amazing home!! Literally everything you need is there. All cleaning supplies for kitchen /laundry. All the things you would need to cook a delicious meal. This is probably the most we’ve invested in a vacation, but both our family and our other friends left feeling it was totally worth it! Shannon was flexible with our check in and responsive. The beds were so comfortable, showers were great and location was phenomenal. BE BACK SOON!

Fantastic home in a great location with ski in/out, right near a lift. Shannon was incredibly responsive and accommodating, letting us park near the home before check in so that we could start skiing early. Home has all the amenities including hot tub and sauna. Indoor parking is great. Would stay there again.

Wonderful experience. This was a true ski-in/ski-out. Everything was super easy and convenient for us. We could easily walk to the base for restaurants. Shannon was very thoughtful and communicated everything we could have needed. We will be back!

Exactly as described. The house is in great condition and is better in person that in the photos. The common area is quite large and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook meals. The location is amazing for skiing but you will need a car if you want to get groceries or go for dinner. The local bus is not easy to use and there is no Uber or taxi’s. I would highly recommend this house for a ski holiday

Guests at Lone Mountain Retreat are ideally positioned to make the most out of their skiing or boarding experience. We offer a true ski-in/ski-out experience that is appropriate for all levels of skiers. Walk 20 steps to the edge of the White Wing Run, and ski a short distance to the Explorer Lift. Enjoy the views on the way up, and ski down to the main base. When returning to the condo, ski down White Wing directly to the garage. Pop off your skis and come in for lunch or a break - it’s truly that easy.
We are also only a 5 minute walk to all Mountain Village restaurants, shops, services and activities. You are truly in the center of it all. For those wanting to further explore the town of Big Sky, take advantage of the free, convenient shuttle system that transports guests from the Mountain Village to the Town Center and Meadow Village areas. There you can enjoy additional dining and shopping options, grocery stores, art galleries, a movie theater, or one of many Town Center activities such as the Farmer’s Market, Music in the Mountains, and other events. A car is not mandatory for guests at Lone Mountain Retreat.

出行信息

Guests typically fly into the airport in Bozeman (BZN) and arrange for their own rental car. Lone Mountain Retreat is located within the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village, approximately 50 miles south of Bozeman. It is a beautiful drive along the Gallatin River. A 4-Wheel drive vehicle is necessary during the winter season.
For those not wishing to drive, it is possible to take the Karst Stage or a private car service to/from the airport. Most will deliver you directly to the front door. While in Big Sky, it is possible to walk or use the shuttle system, if desired.

We are a family of 6 that considers Big Sky, Montana our true home base. We began skiing there in 2003 and purchased Lone Mountain Retreat in 2005 because we had simply never loved skiing anywhere else quite as much. Our children all learned to ski on the gentle slopes right outside our door, beginning at the tender age of 2-3 and eventually mastering the slopes and lay of the land. Over the years, we have rented and shared Lone Mountain Retreat with many families, mostly through word of mouth or personal connection. We are excited to now begin offering our property through Airbnb. As long-term owners, we can offer our guests a great deal of useful advice regarding skiing, other activities, restaurants, nearby attractions, etc. Over the past 17 years, we have had the opportunity to do it all, and we will do our very best to help you plan for a truly awesome, individualized experience.
