We stayed here when going to Yosemite during the day. Nice secluded location, could be hard to find but the instructions made check in very easy. Secluded farm property with friendly dogs and lots of other animals. The bedroom was very hot in the afternoon and early evening since the window unit did not get the cold air all the way back to the bedroom. It was uncomfortably warm when going to bed but cooled down in the middle of the night. Hosts were very friendly and responsive.

Amy and Matthews farm is lovely, despite the extreme heat. Our toddler had a great time with the farm animals and playing with their kids. My husband and his friend enjoyed barbecuing. However, the trip overall was disappointing due to the scorching 104°F weather during the July 4th weekend. We spent most of our time at the farm, which had only one air cooler in the living room. The heat attracted numerous spiders to the mattress, causing me to get bitten, which was unsettling since I'm afraid of spiders. We were aware of the limited cooling situation before booking, so there were no surprises from the host. It was simply unfortunate timing. To fully enjoy and appreciate the farm life, it's best to visit Yosemite between October and May.

Matthew’s place matches the description. We stayed there for 3 nights mid June while we would travel to Yosemite National Park during the days. The park entrance is about 20-30 miles from there so can take close to 30-60 mins depending on the traffic. The living arrangements were perfect for such a stay for 2 of us. It’s inside a ranch and quite secluded. There are no restaurants, stores or dispensaries other than those in Coarsegold(~7 min drive) or Oakhurst(15-20 min drive). Matthew was flexible with a late check in because we got late due to traffic. The dogs would always welcome us whenever we would drive into the property. They’re very friendly. If you love dogs, there are treats kept inside for them. Matthew also gave us a dozen free eggs! Only thing to be aware of is, due to the location being part of a farm, some night insects can get attracted to the light and enter the house if you leave the door open at night. Nothing too dangerous. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

This place was awesome and we felt very much at home. All the amenities were rightfully described and the place offers a lot of open space where you can relax. The host gave us free snacks, eggs and juice. Overall experience was awesome and we are definitely going to recommend this place to our friends.
