Great walkable location. The place had everything we needed. The multiple doors to lock weren’t that difficult to get onto. We dined at several of the bars and restaurants on the street and also wandered into vieux Quebec. The weather wasn’t great and we managed to snag a reservation in the outdoor domes at Ophelia which was such a neat experience. There was a noticeable smell in the unit that we got used to but noticed every time we entered. It was quiet for sleeping.

Vincent was proactive and made great suggestions for restaurants in the area. He answered the phone when I called to ask about parking. The apartment was cute and comfortable. The only complaint is that there is an off putting smell in the hallway, but you cannot smell it in the apartment. Overall, it was a great stay, very close to many restaurants and taverns.

L'emplacement est ideal pour visiter le vieux Québec à pied. Il est à 5 minutes de marche du Parlement et à 15 minutes du Château Frontenac. L'appartement est très bien aménagé. Le lit est confortable. Les indications de Vincent sont claires et précises... heureusement car il y a vraiment beaucoup portes à ouvrir. Il y a de petites choses à arranger (porte serviette de la salle de bain, ajouter une poignée à l'armoire de la poubelle), mais rien de majeur. J'ai enlevé une étoile pour une seule raison. La porte qui donne accès au bâtiment arrière, d'où l'appartement se trouve, se verrouille et déverrouille uniquement avec une clé à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Il faudrait qu'il y ai un loquet à l'intérieur pour permettre de pouvoir sortir en cas de feu. Une femme pourrait avoir de la difficulté à enfoncer la porte. On peut être coincé entre les 2 bâtiments mais on pourrait briser la vitre de la porte du bloc principale pour la déverouiller de l'intérieur.

The apartment was everything we hoped for, clean private and cosy, with a superb location that allowed us to walk everywhere and feel at the heart of things. So many excellent restaurant recommendations, and great communication from the host. We hope to stay there again next time we visit the city!
