Really lovely spot! It had everything you could need— the full outdoor experience and then a communal cabin with a full bathroom, lounge space, and kitchen that was well stocked with everything you need to cook food. We also appreciated that there was storage space both by the tent and inside the cabin. Ramy gave us great suggestions on where to ride bikes, kayak, and hike. Overall a fantastic and restful stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in Ramy’s tree tents and it was truly a unique experience! View from the tree tents is truly awesome and exploring the island is a ton of fun. It was nice being able to stay in the tent and then use the shared cabin to cook and shower as needed. Ramy has kayaks and bikes that you can use as well which allows you to do all the island exploring that you want. There is also a golf course run by donations near by. If your looking to spend time on a charming, sparsely populated island this is for you.

I had an amazing stay at the Beach Retreat. The location is gorgeous and isolated. The view is outrageous... including a view of Mt Reiner from one of the tent sites if the sky is clear. The host Ramy is great with communication about getting to the island via charter boat. The cabin has everything you'll need, a wonderfully cozy feel, and amazing lighting via skylights in every room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cabin was very clean. I felt at home after a short stay. There is great internet and a chromecast TV available for use if you need a break from hiking/kayaking/exploring.

Quiet and beautiful way to stay in the San Juans. As advertised, access to a beach, kayaks, bikes etc. Decatur is a special place, unlike what you'd experience elsewhere in the islands. The hanging tent kept us warm and dry, and was basically like sleeping in a hammock. The cabin is a nice added benefit for showers, food prep, and for rainy days. Highly recommended!
