Nice little cottage in a beautiful location. We enjoyed being off the beaten path on a quiet lake. My husband even caught some fish.

Lakefront is right! Right on the super-clear, quiet, and clean lake. The screened-in porch runs right up to the edge of the water and is a fantastic place to watch the birds, lake, and day go by. It’s incredibly quiet and no road/traffic sounds at the house. The wifi was great for our work video calls and the few movies we decided to stream. It’s rustic and an older family cabin to be sure, but very comfortable. We were glad for all the screens with the number of mosquitos up in the wooded area, but the bugs didn’t bother us at all down on the dock. We were also so grateful for the 2 pm checkout on our last day. A huge selling point that allowed us to depart without a scramble. Thanks Todd and family! We hope to be back!

Fern Lake cottage is wonderful! Beautiful location, clean warm lake, cute cabin that is well appointed and stocked with EVERYTHING! Nice linens and towels , nice beds , well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and lots of supplies (baggies, food storage containers etc. even coffee pods for the keurig!)), cleaning products, personal care products like soap and shampoo, etc. Tons of toys like 3 SUPs, a kayak, canoe, row boat, tubes and life jackets, all in great condition. There is a grill, firepit and dock area as well as picnic table by the water. Inside there was a smart TV, wifi, air/heat unit and fans. Todd gives great facts about the cottage in the house manual with everything you need to know and is also responsive to messages. The cottage is close to Brandon ,a cute town with restaurants, grocery, outdoor concerts and lots of cool attractions north and south on the west side of Vermont. Only down side I can say for our stay was rain and mosquitos which was part of nature.
