We love sharing the natural beauty of the sunshine coast with guests. Our home & gardens are tribute to pacific rim cultures. You will find touches of asian, polynesian, and west coast cultures on the property. We honour the ancestor trees - even their stumps are special here - we leave them for the wildlife. Wildlife abounds here as our pond draws all creatures great and small, from tiny endangered bats getting a drink on the flyby to our local bears going for a morning dip. The call of bald eagles alerts the neighbourhood to the break of dawn. Deer visit often. Cross over our bridge to visit our Tea House between the ponds, overlooking the waterfall. The falling water has an entrancing quality that refreshes the mind & calms the soul. Garth recently retired & is an accomplished wood worker, builder of tea house & ponds & magnificent garden gates, now creating very special ukuleles featuring local west coast woods. Interested guests can arrange a workshop visit. Catherine is a retired event planner and amateur herbalist with special interest in local healing herbs, foods. She practices hula dance & aloha spirituality. She adds the design zen to our home & garden projects. Our motto: Beauty Matters Surround yourself in it!
