Lovely cottage. Very clean and quite location. Had some issue with sewage in the garden but got sorted. Also had neighbor's dog climbing through fence into garden so couldnt just leave our dog out without being with her.

The house was as described and very clean, great location and easy to get to the likes of Screel and many forest walks. This was our first break with our rescue dog Nala and she had the time of her life. Castle Douglas has a good range of charging points for those with a electric vehicle and would highly recommend The Anchor in Kippford for a lunch or evening meal. With two teenagers and a dog in tow we all had a great break. Thank you.

My friends and I had a great stay at this house. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. Everything was as described. Highly recommend as a great base for exploring the area.

We had a fantastic stay here thank you! The house was exactly as expected from the photos, cozy, beautifully clean and well maintained. We had more than enough space for our family of 5 with two dogs. The garden was fully enclosed which was a great bonus. Kirstin was such a proactive and responsive host. We’d definitely like to return when we come back to this area. Lots to do around the area. Would very highly recommend.
