Our beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom house is about ~1400 SQFT, a perfect place to stay and explore East side of the Big Island, with lot of attractions Big Island to offer. This house is set on, one acre lot, with plenty of outside space, a large patio, large family room and a big kitchen with a nice dining table. Hidden Gem with very affordable price for family. It will be your perfect place for remote work with reliable high speed Internet and complete office setup. Enjoy the Paradise sounds, the birds, coqui frogs and winds(Roasters and Peacock). It’s great place to start your morning. Full kitchen with all the essentials and nice backyard views from dining area. There are other rentals in the property, but this guest house have independent entrances on both sides (through Kitchen and Living room) and you are not sharing with others. The House is located around 20 minutes from Hilo. There is one general store nearby, so It is best to do your main shopping for food, groceries and water supplies in Hilo. Access to the beaches, shopping and national parks in a quick 30 minute car ride. The first bedroom is furnished with a king bed, the second bedroom features a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a single bed. In addition to the bedroom setups, we provide one 6-inch memory foam full-size mattresses (tri-fold mattresses) and one foldable mattress, along with other bedding materials. These are conveniently stored in the closets and can be utilized as needed by guests. The ample space in the living room or kitchen area allows for flexible arrangements, making it easy for a group of 7 or more to sleep comfortably. Newly added outdoor shower with bamboo wall. Drinking water with RO filter. In this residential area, it is kindly requested to refrain from any noisy activities, including partying, after 8 PM. We strive to maintain a peaceful and harmonious community where all residents can enjoy a comfortable living environment. Mahalo Raki for your awesome place. We felt very comfortable and at home. It was much larger than we expected and well maintained. It had all the amenities we needed. We hope to come back soon to visit. Definitely a 5 star place.
Nice and private with lots of space. Wasn't cleaned very well from the last stay. Most of the kitchen appliances were malfunctioning but everything else was nice.
i overall loved the place and thought it was a nice house. however, my 1 year old baby had a TOE NAIL clipping in her MOUTH!! we then took notice that there were multiple toe nail clippings on the bed and under the bed. we found a dirty can under the bed and you could tell that the place was not swept or mopped since there was dirt and sand everywhere. the dishes were left in the dishwasher (probably from last guest). there was also wet towels left in the washing machine and other towels left in the dryer! the cleaners did NOT do a good job and i feel like we should have been compensated for it. it’s one thing for dirt and sand on the floor but for my baby to have found a toe nail and we found it since it was in her mouth is unacceptable. this lead us to really look around the bed and room that made us find multiple toe nail clippings, disgusting.

We suggest 3 to 5 days to enjoy this piece of paradise. Really we mean it!
Day 1:
Start your day early with a visit to the Akaka Falls State Park, which is about 20 minutes north of Hilo. The park features a short walking trail through lush vegetation, leading to a stunning 442-foot waterfall.
Next, head to the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, a 40-acre garden showcasing over 2,000 species of plants. Take a leisurely walk through the garden and enjoy the stunning views of the ocean and waterfalls.
For lunch, head back to Hilo and stop at the Hilo Farmers Market. This is a great spot to sample fresh, local produce and other Hawaiian treats.
In the afternoon, visit the Imiloa Astronomy Center. This museum features exhibits on astronomy and Hawaiian culture, as well as a planetarium show.
In the evening, have dinner at one of Hilo's many restaurants, such as Pineapples or Hilo Bay Cafe.
Day 2:
Start your day with a visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, about 45 minutes southwest of Hilo. The park features two active volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa, as well as hiking trails, scenic drives, and a visitor center.
For lunch, head to the nearby town of Volcano and visit the Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant. This historic lodge serves up delicious food in a cozy setting.
In the afternoon, take a scenic drive along the Hamakua Coast. This drive will take you through small towns, past waterfalls, and along stunning ocean views. Be sure to stop at the Waipio Valley Lookout for breathtaking views of the valley below.
In the evening, return to Hilo for dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Day 3:
Start your day with a visit to Rainbow Falls, located just a few minutes from downtown Hilo. This 80-foot waterfall is easily accessible and offers stunning photo opportunities.
Next, head to the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, the only zoo in the United States located in a rainforest. This zoo is home to over 80 animal species, including tigers, monkeys, and birds.
For lunch, head to the nearby town of Keaau and visit the Kaimu Korner Cafe. This local favorite serves up tasty food in a laid-back setting.
In the afternoon, visit the Liliuokalani Gardens. This Japanese-style garden is located on Hilo Bay and features traditional Japanese architecture, koi ponds, and beautiful landscaping.
In the evening, have dinner at one of the local restaurants in Hilo.
