The mini castle- The experience of staying here is like visiting someone’s dream of a home. It’s incredible exterior straight out of storybook. Perennial landscaping of blooming plants, bushes and trees devour ancient hardscaping lost to time. There are little secret mini gardens and details to discover everywhere. The interior is not castle themed, per se, it more reminded us more of a beautifully appointed manor with all the modern conveniences. We did however basically spend our entire time in the solarium, it’s an incredible space. Killua- staying here grants you incredible access to everything that Killua Castle has to offer. Our goal was to escape. So the ability to walk the rainforest like boardwalks, sit by the swan lake, and explore the sprawling estate privately and at our leisure was amazing. The castle itself is an incredible museum and re-imagination of the ruined castle. Each room more incredible than the last. Twelve points was the gastronomic highlight of our trip.

Such a beautiful place! It was so peaceful and a special place to stay. Lorena was a great host! The location was great being able to walk into town. The 12 points restaurant did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

The Clonmellon Lodge was absolutely fantastic! It was beautiful, every detail very thoughtfully done. The place was cozy and beds were comfortable. Lorena gave us a private tour of the Killua Castle and it was incredible. Lorena was very informative, communicative and kind. We wish we could stay longer and if we ever found ourself in the area again, we would definitely want to stay here!
