This was the worst experience we've had with air bnb and we've travelled quite a bit, including in the area. The house had no air conditioning; it's on the second floor so it heats up and becomes stuffy even with all the doors and windows open. The host brought an electric grill which didn't work and blew a fuse. We spent 1 day without hot water before it was fixed and our internet didn't work for the last 2 days of the trip. No apologies, just the excuse that we are the first. A cleaner came in after us, but apparently was unhappy with the fact that the pillows on the beds were rearranged and the dishwasher was just filled and not started. We really left it in a clean state and have never had anything but compliments from hosts on the way we leave apartments even with out toddler. This host scolded us as if we were school children when we brought the keys - it really put a damper on the rest of our trip. In other airbnbs we've stayed, we at least get the impression of hospitality - this was completely transactional and highly unpleasant. We've had far better experiences with other airbnbs in the area with far more pleasant hosts... the scenery is nice, but not something unique in this beautiful region.
