Absolutely loved our stay at this charming country home near the lake! The proximity to the water was perfect for our fishing tournament. The cozy accommodations and serene surroundings made for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quality time outdoors.

On December 30th, my wife and I decided to get out of the city for a peaceful and quiet New Years Eve. Our dog Loki, the Catahoula baby we have is a little scared of fireworks, and the Green Cottage was the perfect place for us. Paul and Julia, took us on a last minute booking, and had everything ready when we got there on the 31st. Fire pit was ready to go. We had enough wood laid out for us to have a fire burn from around 6;00 pm to 2:00 am. I have never had any other host provide the fire pit setup so complete. The bed was amazing and we slept like baby's. If we ever need another escape from Houston, we are definitely putting them on our list of top places to book. Thanks again Paul and Julia. We enjoyed our time. By the way, Loki loved the treats you left for him.

Julia has such a cozy and beautiful space at the house. So nice to enjoy quiet surroundings! All basics are stocked and a sweet welcome basket. Very clean and easy to use kitchen. Will for sure visit again.
