Vacasa Sucks, had family over with children. No one responded to any concerns. Automated response kept calling me ‘Hannah’, so obviously there was no one looking out for the guest. Just disrespectful of someone else’s money. Don’t rent this property it’s not worth it. Pool is never working or not available, but only after you pay and show up. Before hand every thing is great and perfect. Rent from an individual instead of Vacasa. I am disgusted that I spend money on being ignored on holiday vacation with family. Just ridiculous
The initial problem we encountered upon entering the home was that the Fire Detector was alarming. It needed a new battery. Vacasa did nothing to remedy that problem. Instead, we received assurances, dialogue, and (ultimately) excuses that the 'local team' could not respond. Very infuriating and Very stressful as the alarm continued to beep every 35 seconds for days. Other problems included... we found food under the couch, under the furniture, in the drawers of the bedrooms. The sink in the Main Bathroom backs up horribly and so does the tub in the guest bathroom (probably a hair clog) (I would have fixed it, but the stopper cannot be removed). We had to shower in the ankle-deep filth of other renters. Also the shower head is broken and spews water from various ruptures along the hose. The dishwasher doesn't do a good job of cleaning. We typically had to re-wash about half the dishes, afterward. For $2,600, I genuinely expected better service from AirBnB.
The house itself was great- the appliances were older and some malfunctioned during our stay. Ryan a Vacasa rep did come out to check and confirmed the issues, but was helpful in assisting us. Also, there was limited Kitchen supplies, which was surprising. I am most disappointed with Vacasa services - mostly because we paid for the pool to be pre-heated and it was NOT. Vacasa just kept saying we have reached out to our local team, and when someone showed up they were unable to remedy the problem. We had a short stay so I wish there was more urgency to fix the issue. Vacasa did refund my money but I would of rather had the pool heat, as the house was marketed as such.
