Ogallala · 农家乐 · 4室6床3.5卫 · 可住12人 · Lake views, secluded & newly remodeled ranch house
This ranch house, is set on 10 of the 130 acres with views of Lake McConaughy. It offers the perfect setting for larger families or groups coming to enjoy the serenity of the country while visiting the lake, playing golf or hunting. The newly remodeled home sleeps 12, in four bedrooms (2 King & 2 Queen), a loft with two more queen beds. It has 3.5 baths (one tub), a full walk-out basement with a 70" TV & a game room w/ a ping pong table. The home has new HVAC and tankless hot water systems. The No Business Ranch sits on a spectacular and serene 130 acre property with views of majestic Lake McConaughy. This secluded ranch is located on the south side of the Lake and sits only a mile and a half from Ogallala Beach. No Business offers the perfect setting for larger families or groups coming to enjoy the serenity of country living while visiting the Lake. While Lake McConaughy is a popular Summer destination, the area is also a perfect spot for hunters during the Fall and Winter months. In all seasons, visitors can experience an abundance of wildlife from the 10 acre ranch home’s wrap-around deck or while exploring the property’s three out-buildings. The property also includes a 1930’s era barn connected to Lake McConaughy’s unique history. When construction of the dam and reservoir caused the relocation of “old” Leymone to a different area of the Lake, the barn was moved to the No Business property. For our equestrian guests, this barn is available for an additional fee. Country living can be described in many ways. To start, the driveway begins with white gravel but quickly turns to dirt for the next 1,500 feet. Cars will have no trouble gaining access to the Ranch home, but it’s a bit bumpy and will be muddy if wet. Stickers, dust, bugs, large and small animals, some friendly and some not, are common on the property. Keep your eyes and ears open while checking out the property, as some snakes are common in all areas of the Lake. This slice of paradise was originally built in 1918 and has been recently updated since purchased in October 2021. The 3,800 sq. ft. home sleeps 12 and includes four bedrooms, a loft with two queen beds, 3.5 bathrooms (one tub) and a full walk-out basement and game room. The home has an indoor fireplace downstairs and a wood pellet fireplace in the living room, which are ideal to take the chill-off during cool Summer nights and during Nebraska’s cold seasons. The home has new heating and air conditioning units and a new tankless hot water system, which is nice for large groups. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are spacious enough to accommodate a large group of guests, adding to the Ranch’s unique experience. The fully equipped kitchen contains a new range, dishwasher, sink, instapot, blender, toaster oven, mixer, coffee maker and microwave. The dining room has a table for 8 and many other places to sit, either by the fireplace or on the sofas in the living room. The rest of the main floor has a half-bath off the kitchen, with a pocket door to a bedroom with a queen bed and closet. Another two-sink, full-bathroom (with tub) connects to the main suite with a king bed and ample closet space. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a closet with access to the two-sink full-bath, while still allowing privacy for the main suite. The home also features a large capacity washer and dryer located in the mud room. The basement features a 70” big screen TV, sectional sofa and massage chair. An additional table and chairs are perfect for cards or board games or while enjoying a 1948 piano owned by our late grandmother, Ethel Worden. The game room features a ping pong table and rings. A full bath and shower are located off the game room for your convenience. The property allows for ample, well-lit parking for cars or trailers. The yard light can be turned off to enjoy star gazing without light pollution, should you desire. No Business also has 110 outlets available to charge your rig while enjoying the comfort of the house. The property contains a propane bbq grill, an outdoor fire pit (please check if allowed due to burn restrictions) a horse-shoe pit, corn-hole game and a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker.
Had a great time at this place the host was very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole experience.
The NBR exceeded our expectations. There were 9 of us, all were comfortable. The property was clean, inviting, and extremely well organized. Kitchen very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, baking and dining. Marty was a super attentive and responsive host. We had mentioned our family loved ping pong and when we arrived there was a note with a trophy to present the winner! Great personal touch. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, and our crew really appreciated the full size coffee maker. Would definitely book this place again.
No Business Ranch was a great place for 11 of us to hunt the surrounding area this fall. Great host, great location, and a great space to hang out with a large group. 10/10 will book with Marty again.
Stayed with small children over the new yr. Great outdoor times. Loved to fireplace and ping pong table. We cooked a lot. Kitchen worked well. We were there to remember our Nebraska child hood. Perfect.
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary at the Ranch! Marty had some cookies and a card for us, which was so sweet. The place was clean and comfortable. The grounds were spacious and the views hiking were great! Lots of room to gather on the main and lower levels. Bathrooms were a little unusual in location but nice. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and eating utensils. Beds were very comfortable and there were an abundance of linens. All in all, we had a wonderful time! We will be back!
The No Business Ranch house, sits on 10 of our 130 acres, so seclusion is the best way to describe the neighborhood.
We are on a well so the water is deliciously cold and tastes great!
Feel free to pack your hiking boots and explore the canyons of the north 100 acres. There is a path to the waterfall and beyond. While hiking, keep your eyes and ears open for ticks, snakes and poison ivy...you want no part of any of that.
Once you get to the ranch, there is a large lot with plenty of room for parking.

I am new to the hosting side of Airbnb and feel the house is very well equipped but we are open to suggestions. I grew up in Ogallala and stay less than 10 minutes away during the summers. I would be happy to come out if you should need assistance. I travel a lot for work, so please know the above and that I am quiet, clean and respectful.
