This home is absolutely stunning! A little peace of heaven. It’s so private and peaceful. The views of the rooftop were my favorite and the pool was always a nice temperature to take a dip. It’s very close to the bioluminescent bay so at night, the ocean waves were glowing blue during my stay. It was magical! I can’t wait to be back soon.

Our stay at Casa Matilda was genuinely the best airbnb experience I have ever had, and I’ve stayed at something like 30 different places. The location is perfect, just down the road from Casa Wabi and really close to a couple great restaurants. The house is set right on the beach but far enough back that you still have privacy. The design of the house is really remarkable and feels pretty much perfect. We had 4 people staying there and it was just the right size for our group. Lastly, the owner / architect/ host Julio and his team are great. I had a nice chat with Julio while we were there as he was working on another project in the area. His staff Alexis and Norberto both did an amazing job taking care of us during the stay, bringing us great food, cleaning and helping us find a local tour guide. If you are thinking about renting this house, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. I know that my family is already looking forward to returning next year.

I really recommend Julio’s place. We stayed there four nights and we didn’t want to leave. Beach just in front and amazing garden around gives you a lot of privacy. Julio and his team was very helpful, they helped with everything what we needed. If you are still not sure if to rent this place - don’t think and do it !

If we could give this stay 10/5 stars we would! The home is absolutely beautiful with thoughtful details and true indoor/outdoor living. It is the perfect place to spend 4 nights relaxing with friends and enjoying the landscape. Julio, Alexis and Norberto were an incredibly helpful and responsive team helping us make reservations, know the area and even track down some ear drops. We walked everywhere and had meals between the house and nearby restaurants. Highly highly recommend. Thank you team Casa Matilda! We will be back!
