This multi-bedroom family home is located on the banks of the Apurimac River. It is reached via a winding, sometimes narrow dirt road with spectacular views. When we were there the road had recently been graded and was in excellent condition. That is not always the case. Billy is an excellent host and his parents, Enrique and Consuelo, are gems. Do not miss the chance to cook with Consuelo. She is talented and energetic and her smile in contagious. BE AWARE: there is no Wi-Fi and cell service is limited (our Movistar plan had no service). Also, the shower is cold water only and there are a LOT of biting noseeums during certain seasons, so bring a lot of repellent. This is a peaceful place and a great chance to meet good people at a terrific price. Only Spanish spoken.
