Thornbury is a small guest house with just 5 guest rooms. Built in 1886 as a merchant’s house it has been recently refurbished to offer accommodation. We are within easy walking distance of the City, Howard Smith Wharf and Fortitude Valley. 4 of the top Brisbane restaurants are within easy walking distance. The historic Spring Hill Baths and Centenary pool are close by. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests use and supplies can be purchased from Woolworths (5 minute walk). The Attic Suite has a spacious bedroom with a king bed that can be split into two singles. A smaller room has a king single bed. There is a private bathroom in the attic suite for your exclusive use. The very stylish Hamptons style sitting/dining room has a large TV with Netflix. There are steep steps to climb but it is a private haven away from the other guest rooms. It has ducted air-conditioning, fridge and kettle. It is unsuitable for children.
